Join us on Mondays from 7:30pm for competitive chess matches and friendly social chess.
We enter teams in the Hertfordshire Chess Association league and Cup competitions.
All Adult chess players welcome!
Annual Membership £45
Junior Membership
Young chess players of secondary school age* are welcome at Monday evening club between 7.30 and 9.00 pm. They must be delivered and collected by a parent or guardian. The parent or guardian must either remain at the Club or provide written permission for their child to remain unaccompanied..
Annual Junior Membership £35
*younger children may be admitted at the discretion of the Committee.
August Open Evenings
We are holding Welcome Evenings from 7,30pm every Monday in August (except Bank Holidays) specifically for new and prospective members.
These offer a chance to visit the Club, gain an overview of how the Club operates, meet fellow players, and ask questions. There's no commitment and no pressure.
